Your faves: toners

Hey everyone! I hope you're having a great weekend :) I originally planned to put out a new category in this skincare series every two days, but I'm getting a little behind already lol. I thought I would have way more free time this summer for working on this site, but turns out that not having school doesn't mean more time 😂 there have been so many other fun things going on that I've decided I definitely need a day where I just write a ton of posts to publish during the week, AND that I may only post every three days, instead of two. :)

But anyway, let's get right on into the second part of the your faves skincare series! We already covered a ton of y'alls favorite cleansers (check that out here!), and we are now onto toners!

  • The witch hazel toner by Bioré, available at Ulta for $7.99. Kacy says this is her favorite toner because it really helps with oily skin!

  • Apple cider vinegar, available from most grocery stores. Madison says this is her absolute favorite thing to put on her face, and that she dilutes it, and it dries up her acne almost overnight!

  • Rosehip oil, available at Sephora for $9.80. Lucie loves this natural product and has recently been putting it on her face every night. She says her skin has never looked better, and that it's totally healed her scarring and texture in problem areas on her face!

  • The tea tree toner from the Body Shop, available for $9.80. This is one of the products Lexi uses. She hasn't worn makeup for a few months because she was always breaking out, but after lots of research, she found this. So now, whenever she starts to see breakouts, she uses this and says her skin has never looked better!

  • The glow tonic toner by Pixi, available at Target for $15. This is one of Evie's favorite skin products, and she says that putting some on every night will leave you with clear, glowing skin. Laurie also recommends this.

  • Thayers witch hazel, available on Amazon for $9. This was a super popular tip from you all, and witch hazel is also in a lot of the best toners. I recently started using this too, and let me just say I completely recommend it! It has been a major part in my clear skin routine, and I absolutely love it. (When I'm done posting all of your girls' tips, I plan on posting my own skincare routine, so make sure to look for that!) Cate, Nen, Anna, and Kerri all recommend this. Nen uses this for fine lines and cleansing, and Cate says she uses it every morning and night, and anytime she's feeling extra oily or sweaty.

  • The facial sprays (set of 3) by Mario Badescu, available at Ulta for $21. This was definitely the most popular tip out of everything you all told me! So many of you recommended it that I'm not going to even try to put all the names lol! But, I will include a few tips some of you messaged me. Mia says its great as a setting spray, Gracelyn says it's very refreshing, and Palak loves how it makes her skin and makeup look smooth. Emi is also really loving the spray and says she puts it in the fridge and then sprays it on her face in the morning, which helps to soothe irritated skin during hot summers. This was recommended so much that I am definitely going to be getting some of this myself! I may also have a collaboration opportunity with Mario Badescu, so if that happens that would be pretty AMAZING!!

Well, that's all for the toner part of the your faves skincare series! I hope you all don't mind me posting in such small categories, but I figure it's an easier way to get posts out more regularly, and also a good way to give you a lot of suggestions easily in different categories rather than one huge post :)

Have a great weekend girls, and stay tuned for more! Plus, feel free to message/comment any tips or products you use and think would help others too :)
