Hey everyone! Hope y’all are having a good week 😘 So yesterday, I was going through my closet and was trying to put together some outfits. I found a pair of mom style jeans that I have (really the only pair I have... it‘s so hard for me to find jeans that fit right!) and was thinking about just giving them away since I never wore them, but I decided to see if I could find some outfit inspiration on Pinterest for ways to style them. I’m so glad I decided to do that, because I found a ton of cute, trendy ways to wear them and now I have so many new outfits options!! (Moral of the story—if you think you can’t style something, just look it up and at least try it and I bet you’ll end up finding some new way to wear it!)
Anyways, I picked out 10 outfits to take pics in so I could post them here for y’all to hopefully be inspired by! Let’s get right into it :)
Here I paired the jeans with a red spaghetti strap shirt! These type of shirts have been a big staple this summer for me, so why not wear it with jeans too?! Since this top was a bit longer and the jeans were sort of high waisted, I tied a knot on the shirt, and I think that added a cute touch :)
For this outfit I wore a brown fitted off-the-shoulder/square neckline shirt that I’m pretty sure used to be my mom’s! I think this style of shirt/neckline is absolutely so cute, and it makes a nice contrast to have the tighter top with the looser mom-jeans!
In this outfit, I paired a dark red top with the jeans. I’m not a huge fan of the color, but what I really love about it are the sleeves and neckline with the lettuce trim hems/borders! I really want to get some more shirts like this because I feel like it’s a great basic but still cute item to have in your closet!
Graphic tees are super popular these days, so I had to include one in this post! I decided to tuck this one in. I think if the waist of the jeans were more high-waisted and and fitted at the top it would have looked even cuter, but I’ll work with what I have ;)
This is one of my faves out of this post! I paired this sort of cropped top with the jeans. I think the great thing about high-waisted things are that you can pair it with a shorter top and it won’t show your stomach! Another thing I like about the shirt is the stripes on the sleeve. It makes it go from simple to cute and fun!
For this outfit, I wore my “life is beautiful“ tee! I also tied it at the bottom since it’s a bit long. This outfit is super simple though and doesn’t require much thought, time or effort , and I bet any of you could put together something just like it! :)
I think this outfit is super cute and I also am excited about the way I put it together! So I love the style of tube tops, but generally they’re pretty short and show your stomach. Soo, since I haven’t been able to find any longer ones yet, I decided to layer two of them over each other! It’s not noticeable at all, and it just looks really cute and summery :)
This outfit is a little bit fancier than the others, but I really love the style of the shirt! That ruched fabric that tube tops and some dress bodices are made out of is one of my absolute faves. I’m thinking of taking the buttons off of the shirt, but i might keep them on for a little while just because they add some extra flair to the outfit and dress it up a bit :)
Wow so I really went out in 90 degree weather just to take some cute pics for y’all of this outfit 😂 Anyways, I though that pairing the sweatshirt I got from Hawaii with these jeans looked pretty cute! This is definitely more of a fall/winter outfit, but it’s a great way to stay warm and cozy while also looking fashionable ;)
And the last outfit, that I also went outside for just to take pics in! I think this style is really really cute, wearing a fitted basic long sleeve top and tucking it in. And if you have really high waisted pants, it will give you a nice silhouette look and make your waist look small ;)
Well that’s all for this post! I hope you enjoyed it (don’t forget to like and comment if you did!) and maybe this will give you some new outfit ideas, especially for back to school or something! Which fit was your favorite? Do you have a certain go-to way that you style jeans? 💛
Aww just saw this, you are all so sweet like you’re making my day 😭💛🥰
Ur so pretty and these outfit ideas r gorgeousss 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I love the 7th and 9th outfits especially, but still love all the others!! So cute and inspiring🤩
@Juliet really I just look through the jeans section and any pair of jeans that I like the wash of I grab to try on! A lot of the time it’s hard to tell how they’ll fit just by looking at them, so it’s better to try on a ton and you’ll likely find one you wouldn’t have chosen otherwise! I also recommend looking in more than just your size bc sometimes they mix in other sizes in the wrong places, or else a certain brand says one thing but would actually fit you well. It’s really just a lot of looking and trying on haha but I hope that helps!💛
loveee these styless
